Shipping. Orders ship from our Freeport, NY store by UPS, FedEx or USPS, normally within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping is free on orders over $99 to the continental U.S.; oversized items may carry a surcharge shown at checkout. In-store pickup is available at checkout.
Returns. Unused, unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of receipt with prior authorization. A 15% restocking fee applies (waived on an even exchange) and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Opened paint, glue, fuel, batteries, software, gift cards, pre-orders and final-sale items cannot be returned.
Damaged in transit? Keep the carton and packing material and contact us within 10 days of the ship date so we can file a claim and send a replacement.

Description
Put the Bachmann EMD GP40 CSX #6059 at the head of your model train. An operating headlight adds illumination to the locomotive. Onboard sound adds an audio element to model train operation.
Constructed between 1965 and 1971, the four-axle GP40 was one of the earliest EMD locomotives from the Second Generation era, and remarkably, it continues to be found in operation today. Built to replace the previously offered GP35 series, the GP40 was designed with versatility in mind, being equally efficient at yard work, industrial operations, and light road duties. A staggering 1,221 units were produced for railroads across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, using mostly standardized components (for ease of maintenance) unless directed otherwise by the purchaser. Our model is available in numerous roadnames with protypical decoration.
