Shipping. Orders ship from our Freeport, NY store by UPS, FedEx or USPS, normally within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping is free on orders over $99 to the continental U.S.; oversized items may carry a surcharge shown at checkout. In-store pickup is available at checkout.
Returns. Unused, unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of receipt with prior authorization. A 15% restocking fee applies (waived on an even exchange) and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Opened paint, glue, fuel, batteries, software, gift cards, pre-orders and final-sale items cannot be returned.
Damaged in transit? Keep the carton and packing material and contact us within 10 days of the ship date so we can file a claim and send a replacement.

Expand your model train consist with the Bachmann NYC Wheel Car #X-29499 HO Gauge 18936. E-Z Mate couplers connect the rolling stock in a consist.
With the friction created from steel riding on steel, wheels on locomotives and rolling stock periodically need to be replaced for safety and smooth performance. When being delivered by rail, new wheels are typically transported on flatcars that have been built or modified for this specific purpose. The Bachmann 52' Wheel Flatcar represents examples of this car found from the 1950s through the early 2000s, the prototypes of which were modified from earlier general-use flatcars. Features of the model include a newly tooled wheel transport rack and load of separate wheelsets, all finished in an authentic oxide brown.
