Shipping. Orders ship from our Freeport, NY store by UPS, FedEx or USPS, normally within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping is free on orders over $99 to the continental U.S.; oversized items may carry a surcharge shown at checkout. In-store pickup is available at checkout.
Returns. Unused, unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of receipt with prior authorization. A 15% restocking fee applies (waived on an even exchange) and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Opened paint, glue, fuel, batteries, software, gift cards, pre-orders and final-sale items cannot be returned.
Damaged in transit? Keep the carton and packing material and contact us within 10 days of the ship date so we can file a claim and send a replacement.

Description
Put the Bachmann GS4 4-8-4 SP Daylight #4449 RAILFAN (DCC SOUND VALUE) at the head of your model train. An operating headlight adds illumination to the locomotive. Onboard sound adds an audio element to model train operation.
The streamlined, powerful SP GS4 4-8-4 steam locomotives were the choice of high-speed passenger service in the Southwest until they were superseded by diesels in the late 1950s. Our GS4 4-8-4 now includes our Sound Value Econami ® steam package with authentic prototypical chuff, short and long whistles, bell, air pump, steam release, and blower—all in 16-bit polyphonic sound. The preserved and still running #4449 has had many different paint schemes, but this model is the current version.
